Pasaeli Yapincak 2021

Pasaeli is in 2000 is opgericht door Seyit Karagözoğlu. Samen met Andrea Paoletti, bekend van zijn jarenlange ervaring bij Antinori in Toscane, wil hij Turkije als serieus wijnland op de kaart zetten.

Yapıncak comes from a single 30-year-old vineyard in Yayaköy. Cool and rainy winters and warm summers are characteristic of the climate, with an average temperature of 28°C and 24°C in the months of August and September respectively. The soil is a mix of gravel and sand with a good drainage. The vines are head-trained and conventional farming procedures are applied.

The grapes were pressed as whole clusters. It is fermented partially in stainless steel tank and partially in 225-liter French oak barrels at 18°C, then aged on lees for 5 months. Both parts were kept on their fine lees for 3 months and stirred once a week to add complexity to the wine.

De Yapincak is bleek goudgeel van kleur en heeft een bloemige geur met een lichte toon van vanille. De wijn is elegant van smaak met een hint citrus en een minerale toets.
