Wonderful range and depth of flavours, still firmly chewy tannins, starting to melt, and remarkably fresh. Concentrated but not in the least heavy. On the way to elegance but ageing slowly.

Intense Alicante fruit: sweet, black and spicy, but more in the blackberry/mulberry spectrum than anything as domesticated as blackcurrant. Seductively rich. On the palate, this is a massive wine.
