Neus: Invloeden van de ruige kust, turfrook maar ook vanille en verse citrus-schil. Dennenbos in het najaar met warm hout. Smaak: Maritieme turfrook met rijpe appel en peer, weer het warme eikenhout en verwarmende zwarte peper.

Onder de naam Scarabus produceerde een farm distillery ooit Islay whisky. Dit duurde maar 1 jaar in 1817-1818. Nu heeft Hunter Laing onder deze naam een mooie Islay Single Malt gebotteld.
